The Bound Society is a monthly book subscription service that provides:

• One curated indie book per month
• Collectible items (trading cards, pins, bookmarks, etc.)
• Access to our private Discord community
• Exclusive author content and Q&A sessions
• Gamification elements (riddles, points, ranks)

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of our service at any time.

3. Subscription and Billing

Monthly Subscription

Our service operates on a monthly subscription basis at $64.99 per month (subject to change with notice).

Billing

• You will be charged monthly on the date you originally subscribed
• Billing is automatic unless you cancel your subscription
• All payments are processed securely through our payment processor
• You are responsible for maintaining valid payment information

Failed Payments

If a payment fails, we will attempt to charge your payment method up to three times. If payment remains unsuccessful, your subscription may be suspended or cancelled.

Price Changes

We reserve the right to change our subscription price. We will notify you at least 30 days in advance of any price increase.

4. Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time by:

Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing cycle. You will continue to have access to all member benefits until the end of the paid period.

5. Shipping and Delivery

• Boxes typically ship during the first week of each month
• Delivery times vary by location (typically 3-7 business days)

Lost or Damaged Shipments

If your box is lost or arrives damaged, please contact us within 14 days of the expected delivery date. We will work with you to resolve the issue.

Address Changes

You must update your shipping address before the 25th of each month to ensure delivery to the correct location.

6. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
• Providing accurate and current information

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

7. Community Guidelines

Members of our Discord community must:

• Be respectful and kind to all members
• Not engage in harassment, bullying, or hate speech
• Not share spoilers without proper warnings
• Not spam or promote unrelated products/services
• Respect intellectual property rights
• Follow Discord’s Terms of Service and Community Guidelines

Violation of community guidelines may result in removal from the Discord server and/or subscription termination without refund.

8. Intellectual Property

Our Content

All content on our website and in our materials (text, graphics, logos, images, designs) is the property of The Bound Society and is protected by copyright and trademark laws.

You may not:

• Reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content
• Use our trademarks without written permission
• Resell or redistribute items from your subscription box

User Content

By posting content in our Discord community or on social media with our hashtags, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and share your content for promotional purposes.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• The Bound Society is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for your subscription
• We are not responsible for delays or failures due to circumstances beyond our control

We make no guarantees regarding:

• The availability, accuracy, or reliability of our service
• Your satisfaction with featured books or authors
• Uninterrupted or error-free service
• The security of our platform
